The Brongniart Palace was built by the architect Brongniart under the impulse of Napoleon Bonaparte. By laying the foundation stone in 1808, the emperor wanted to bring together in one place all the stock exchange activities, a real innovation at the time aimed at optimizing the existing system.
Inaugurated in 1826, the place will effectively be the lung of the financial activity of the XIXth century, favoring the expansion of the railways, the steel industry, and the great industrial adventures, until 1998, date of the closing of the Stock Exchange at the Palais Brongniart.

Today, the Palais Brongniart is one of the very first congress and event center in Paris, carrying a philosophy of actions around economic, financial, social and solidarity innovation. A project led by the GL Events group, one of the international leaders in the management of event spaces, and with the City of Paris owner of the building.

Créée en 2018 la Place Fintech est le point de rencontre entre tous les acteurs de l'écosystème financier au cœur du Palais Brongniart - qu'ils soient startups, grandes entreprises, institutionnels, investisseurs ou encore étudiants, pour développer et faire rayonner l'innovation en France et à l'international.
Avec une communauté de plus de 1300 adhérents, 12 Partenaires Sponsors et plus de 160 évènements par an, la Place Fintech est un lieu incontournable de l’innovation financière. C’est aussi une voix médiatique qui compte sur la scène de l’écosystème Fintech avec plus de 100 articles thématiques et interviews par an.
